JOEL CAMPBELL has aimed a dig at Arsene Wenger after claiming he ‘deserved to play more’ last season.
The Arsenal forward has linked up with Sporting Lisbon on a year-long loan deal despite making 30 appearances for the Gunners in the last campaign.

Campbell scored three times in 19 league outings as Arsenal finished second in the table, but he has been deemed surplus to requirements for the time being alongside Jack Wilshere.
And the 24-year-old has seemingly taken a swipe at Wenger for a perceived lack of respect, although he admits he is looking forward to his time in Portugal.
Campbell told A Bola: “I feel good, this is a new experience.
“I think I deserved to play more after what I did last year, but now this is a new stage.”

The move to Sporting is Campbell’s fifth loan move in as many years after joining the Gunners from Saprissa in 2011.
The Costa Rica international can count Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos amongst his former employers.
But it was a loan spell at Villarreal in 2015 which really made people take notice, helping the Spaniards achieve a sixth-place finish and qualification for the Europa League.
