ARSENE WENGER is set to be sensationally offered the Everton job if he is sacked by Arsenal, according to reports.
Sections of Gunners supporters have turned against the long-serving Frenchman in recent years following his failure to win the Premier League.

Yesterday’s 2-1 defeat at Brighton only fuelled the Wenger Out brigade after back-to-back 3-0 losses against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final and league.
But according to the Daily Star, Wenger will not have to look far to find another job in the Premier League with Everton ready to pounce.
Sam Allardyce was hired as Goodison boss in November on a contract which runs until the end of June 2019.
But some fans are unconvinced about the former England manager and Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Burnley did nothing to encourage them.

According to the report, Everton’s billionaire owner Farhad Moshiri is making plans for life without Big Sam and believes Wenger, 68, is the perfect man to replace him.
Moshiri owned 15 per cent of Arsenal before investing in Everton.
Wenger is the Premier League’s current longest serving manager having joined the club in 1996.
He admitted Arsenal are in a worse position than last season when they came fifth – their lowest finish under his management.

The Gunners board, including chief exec Ivan Gazidis, have doubts over Wenger moving the club forward.
Wenger signed a new two-year deal in May.
It is now mathematically impossible for Arsenal to win the league.
And the ex-Monaco boss conceded defeat in the hunt for a top-four finish.
He said: “It is very difficult, nearly impossible now – we are too far behind.
“We have to be realistic. We need two teams to collapse and I don’t see that happening. We have to give our best for as long as we can and the Europa League becomes important.”
But Wenger still insists he is the right man to manage Arsenal.

He said: “I can understand the frustration [of the supporters].
“What can I say? The League Cup in the middle of the season makes it difficult if you don’t win it. It brings a lot of negative waves.
“On top of that, the rearranged game on Thursday night [against City] didn’t help us to compete today.
“The negativity after losing the final, plus the fact we’re not in a fantastic position in the league, hits us hard.
“Am I still the right man? Yes, because I’ve done it before. I believe a quality of a manager is to try to shorten a crisis. I believe I can do that.”
