Arsenal humiliation continues as Sky Sports drop them from live TV slot in favour of Tottenham
ARSENAL have suffered even more humiliation in the week of woe – after they were axed by Sky from a high-profile live TV game and replaced by Tottenham.
The Gunners have lurched from chaos into crisis over the past two months with the team falling out of the Champions League places and supporters in open revolt.

But their clash with defending Premier League champions had been due to be screened live on April 28 with Sky believing it would be a crucial game in their race for a top four spot.
Yet schedulers have now decided the match at the Emirates is less important than Tottenham’s trip to Crystal Palace on the same night and have decided to swap the match they are showing.

The decision is further evidence of how far Arsenal’s star has fallen over the past three months as their season collapses around them.
They have gone from the most likely side to challenge Chelsea for the Premier League title to a team now languishing in sixth and in disarray.
Arsenal have lost five of their last eight Premier League matches and now face the real prospect of missing out on a top four finish for the first time in Arsene Wenger’s control.

Wenger has still to make public his decision on whether he signs a new two-year deal with the club despite admitting almost a month ago he knows what he will be doing.
And that vacuum has seen a clear split develop within the supporters, with some still backing him but an increasing number now calling for him to leave at the end of the season.
The mood reached an all-time low on Monday night when Wenger looked on helpless as his team turned in a dismal display to lose 3-0 at Palace.

Supporters finally snapped and attacked both Wenger and the players, accusing them of not being good enough to wear the Arsenal shirt.;
They even stayed behind to hurl a torrent of abuse of manager and squad as they left Selhurst Park to board the coach back to north London.
In contrast Tottenham have been growing in confidence and have emerged as the only team who is giving Chelsea any kind of race for the title.
They are now 14 points clear of their north London rivals and clearly the dominant side in their rivalry with the Gunners.
Sky bosses believe their trip to Selhurst Park is going to be a bigger hit with the viewers than watching Arsenal, who by then could be fighting off Everton in seventh in the table if their form fails to improve.
