Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech debuts unusual £120 gloves going halfway up his forearm with DISC to tighten them
PETR CECH sported a revolutionary pair of new gloves against Liverpool at the weekend.
But despite his fancy new mitts (which cost a massive £120 per pair) the Arsenal keeper still conceded three as the Gunners were smashed at Anfield.

The Puma evoDISC went halfway up the goalkeeper’s forearms – and even feature a rotating DISC rather than the traditional velcro strap.
Puma’s promotional blurb claims the gloves: “…benefits from Ultimate Grip latex that extends beyond the wrist, allowing you to catch – and hold on to – the fiercest of shots.”

The German sporstwear brand also says that there is added latex to help with punching the ball clear and air holes to stop them getting too sweaty.
But the gloves and Cech were powerless to stop Arsenal slipping to a third defeat in four in the Premier League.
Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Georgino Wijnaldum were all on target as Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners at Anfield to heap more pressure on Arsene Wenger.

Cech admitted he didn’t know how Arsenal were so roundly beaten at Anfield.
He said: “We had two weeks to prepare for the game. We knew they were fast on the counter-attack and that they like to press a lot, so we didn’t want to give them a chance to counter-attack.

“In the end it’s very disappointing. The two goals we conceded in the first half were when we were in position, behind the ball and not in immediate danger.
“They always managed to find the opening unfortunately, and that shouldn’t have happened because we should have been organised enough to prevent it.
“We were not at the level we should have been at in the first half, and it’s difficult to say why.”
