Just two days later, the Gunners took on West Ham at home, with supporters paying tributes to the French boss for his two decades-plus of service.
But some Arsenal fans seemed less than impressed at former Leicester boss Ranieri‘s appearance.
The Italian manager – who has also managed Chelsea during his career – is currently in charge of Ligue 1 side Nantes.
And despite his Premier League title win of 2015-16 with the “Fearless Foxes”, many fans seemed frustrated at Ranieri being “after Wenger’s job”.
