Arsenal fans hire ‘Arsene Wenger Out’ van to further their protest ahead of Sunday’s Manchester City clash at the Emirates
ARSENAL fans have taken their ‘Arsene Wenger Out’ protest to a whole new level ahead of Sunday’s clash with Manchester City.
With the tried-and-tested ‘plane-banner’ approach done and dusted, disgruntled Gunners fans have this time rented a van, scrawled with anti-Wenger messages on the side.

The two-week international break appears to have done little to calm the ‘Wenger Out’ brigade with Arsenal teetering on the brink of not even qualifying for next year’s Champions League.

Ahead of Sunday’s showdown, images of the van quickly circulated – as it is impossible to fly over the Emirates due to flight restrictions in the area.
One of the messages was a 2011 quote from club chief executive Ivan Gazidis, saying: “Arsene is accountable to the fans – they ultimately make judgement.

“If you are seeing the relationship between the fans and the manager break down over time that is unsustainable.”
The quote was followed by the message: “That time is now – Wenger Out.”
The other side of the van read: “Twenty years in Europe and we’re still waiting…”
Keep an eye out for this today, there are fans who have had enough and the protests will not stop (An no I'm not driving the van) pic.twitter.com/js9pNM8NhT
