ARSENAL fans went into meltdown after Arsene Wenger again decided to leave new signing Granit Xhaka on the bench.
Gunners supporters have been left stumped at the way the £35million midfielder has hardly been given a chance by Wenger.
Xhaka has started just twice for the Gunners in the Premier League but has not featured since helping the side to a 3-1 win at Watford on August 27.
Instead Wenger has preferred to play Santi Cazorla alongside Francis Coquelin in the base of the midfield – even though Xhaka was bought to improve that area of the pitch.
And with that duo already playing twice this week, the expectation was Wenger would turn to his Swiss international for the trip to Hull City.
But fans were left stumped when the manager opted to ask Coquelin and Cazorla to start their third game in seven days, with Xhaka again having to settle for a place on the bench.

Some questioned why Wenger splashed out £35m for a player he didn’t consider good enough to play in his first team.
And others even suggested Arsenal only splashed out the cash on the midfielder to stop fans criticising them for not buying players and to boost season ticket sales.
