NFL STAR Jay Ajayi gave his opinion on Alexis Sanchez’s exit as he prepares for the biggest game of his career.
Sanchez move from Arsenal to Manchester United has dominated the January transfer window and the Philadelphia Eagles running back is delighted to see the Chile international go.
Ajayi’s love for the Gunners made the trip with him when he moved from London to the States at seven years old.
And the high-profile fan was pleased to hear Arsene Wenger had offloaded the 29-year-old.
Ajayi told the Telegraph: “Basically, good riddance.
“I’m a supporter if the guys that play for the team and want to be there.”
Ajay made his own transfer this season when he was traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Eagles in October.
And while £26m-a-year new-boy Sanchez settles in at his new club, Ajayi has been preparing for Super Bowl LII.
His new team defied the odds after their star quarterback Carson Wentz suffered a season ending injury to breeze through the NFC Championship game against the Minnesota Vikings to reach the biggest stage.
Despite their city’s team falling short, Minnesota will host the NFL’s showpiece event on February 4.

Ajayi and the Eagles will take on defending champions New England Patriots in a game that will bring America to a standstill.
Though the 24-year-old has had a hard time convincing his British friends to tune in.
“I tell them it’s like playing in the Champions League final or the World Cup final. It’s the pinnacle of sport.
“There’s no better game, there’s nothing after the Super Bowl. This is it, it’s one of the biggest sporting events in the world.”
