The gutted Gunners fan said: “’It was a horrible, horrible atmosphere to be involved in.

“It was very toxic at times. A few fights broke out on the stands and it’s just really unfortunate.

“It’s just heartbreaking to witness a team I’ve supported all my life to be absolutely… when you look at the players 1-11 they don’t know what it means to put that red and white jersey on and it’s just unfortunate that they don’t have the heart and they don’t have the desire and the passion to play like what’s expected of them at Arsenal football club.

‘You could almost sense… on Thursday night I was at the Man City game as well where the stadium was empty and you felt there was a change that needs to happen… something needs to happen because it can’t go on much longer like this.

‘COULDN’T SAVE A WORD DOC’ Arsenal fans tear into Petr Cech as Brighton take early-two goal lead

“We’re low on confidence and they did a job on us.

“In the first half they could have been three or four goals up and it’s just unfortunate. It’s really sad.

“It’s really, really sad to witness this from an Arsenal team you know.

“At the moment I feel for Arsene Wenger I think he’s been a great servant for the club and when I look at him I want to cry because it’s just sad to see his legacy almost just fall apart because like I said he’s been a great servant.

“He came in with a philosophy with a style of play. He changed English football. He did a lot.

“He won the double twice and the Invincibles are arguably one of the greatest Arsenal sides of all time.”
