Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes the Premier League has lost it’s moral soul as he complains that certain club’s don’t try once they’ve avoided relegation
ANGRY Arsene Wenger reckons the Premier League has lost its moral soul.
The Arsenal boss is upset with the top flight teams who turn it in as soon as they are safe from relegation.

And he believes the integrity of the competition is being damaged by some clubs who are only interested in banking £100million-a-year from the Sky TV deal.
“Mentally and morally the Premier League has changed a lot,” Wenger claimed ahead of tonight’s home game against relegated Sunderland.
“Once some teams are safe they have a breather which didn’t happen ten years ago.
“Some teams turn up and others are on holiday, so it’s very difficult to plan.

“What is inexcusable is to not give your best.”
Wenger refused to name which teams he feels have thrown in the towel but was clearly unimpressed by West Ham’s efforts during Sunday’s 4-0 home defeat by Liverpool.
That result means Arsenal will almost certainly finish outside of the top four for the first time in Wenger’s 21-year resign.
The Gunners must now win their final fixtures at home to Sunderland and Everton and pray that Manchester City slip up against West Brom at the Etihad on Sunday to snatch Champions League qualification for a 20th successive time.
And his comments about team’s switching off is a last desperate attempt to spur on a West Brom team who have not won a game for two months.
