Arsenal are officially by the ‘most injured’ team in the Premier League – losing players for TWO YEARS longer than Manchester United in the last five seasons
ARSENAL have not been enjoying themselves of late, that’s for sure.
Not only did they surrender their Premier League title fight early – again – but there is speculation regarding the future of star duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Is it Wenger? Is it the desire? The pressure? Or is it perhaps just bad luck?
After all, Arsenal have succumbed to more injuries than any other Premier League club since the start of the 2011-12 season... a lot more.
In total, the Gunners have racked up 10,825 days - just over 28 years - worth of injuries.

That's TWO YEARS clear of any other team... Manchester United on 9,600 days of players on the sidelines.
Having players like Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby on the books have severely padded those numbers, with the pair missing over 800 days apiece on the physio's table.
Even more recently, stars such as Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey are in the treatment room more often than not.
Elsewhere, Merseyside giants Everton and Liverpool come in third and fourth in injury stakes, with 8,058 and 8,044 respectively.

They are ahead of Tottenham on 7,625 as well as Stoke and Sunderland at around 7,000 days apiece.
Giants Manchester City and Chelsea also make the top 11, with Swansea and West Brom completing the list.
It's been well over a decade now since Arsenal won the biggest prize in English football.
And if their luck - or perhaps inability to prevent injuries - doesn't change soon, it could be another long decade...
