Arda Turan angers Barcelona supporters by ‘liking’ picture of Real Madrid shirt on Twitter

ARDA TURAN has done the impossible – making life at Barcelona even harder for himself with a Twitter post ‘liking’ a Real Madrid sleeve.

The Turkey midfielder has been a frustrated bit-part player since switching from Atletico Madrid – after sitting out last term until January 2016  due to Barca‘s transfer embargo.

Now Barcelona fans are outraged by Turan’s apparent like of a white top emblazoned with “respect” but belonging to their biggest rivals and European champions Real.

Ahmed the Cule @MessiCutetweeted in response: “Oh, kick him out of our club.”

But sprinkled amongst the messages of anger and astonishment were some of support or sympathy for Turan.

The shy @GameSpiritGS said: “I can guarantee you Arda is a Barca fan.”

Turan, 29, emerged as a European star with Turkish giants Galatasaray before his career took off in four years with Atletico.

But he has played just 18 times for Barca since arriving for £29million 13 months ago.

The attack-minded ace has 93 international caps.

But after his apparent and intriguing decision to tweet some subtle ‘support’ for Real his club future could be even more uncertain.
