Antoine Griezmann told to snub Manchester United and Jose Mourinho as Atletico Madrid offer him Champions League football, by Fernando Torres
MANCHESTER UNITED can offer Antoine Griezmann nothing Atletico Madrid don’t already give him, according to team-mate and former Liverpool star Fernando Torres.
The former Chelsea striker plays alongside the France star in La Liga and has heard all the rumours about an £85million move to Old Trafford in the summer.

But Torres, who cost the Blues £50m when he swapped Anfield for Stamford Bridge in 2011, has told the 26-year-old to ignore United’s offer and stick with the Champions League side.
Torres told Football Focus: “Where are you going to go to improve what you have in Atletico?”
“Not many places in the world. I hope he can stay with us forever.
“When young players become one of the best in the world, everyone wants to sign them.

“He's 26, which is a very good age to develop your game and to decide if you want to be a good player or a top player.

“We were in the Champions League final [last season], he played in the Euro final with France, so I think he realises how difficult it is to become champion, but he is right there. He has the world in his hands.”
United could qualify for next season’s Champions League if they win the Europa League or scrape their way into the top four.
But their hopes on both fronts took a huge blow on Friday when Mourinho revealed his second most prolific goalscorer, Juan Mata, is out for the rest of the season with a hernia injury.
