Anthony Modeste: Cologne star and Blackburn flop ‘is better than Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’
FORMER Blackburn flop Anthony Modeste is a better striker than Robert Lewandowski AND Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
That’s according to Cologne teammate Timo Horn, who reckons the Frenchman is the Bundesliga’s No.1 after taking his tally for the season to 22 with three goals at the weekend.

However, fans in England will best remember Modeste for a terrible loan spell at Blackburn, with the hitman failing to score a single goal in nine appearances as the club were relegated from the Premier League.

Modeste is now the second-top scorer in the league, one behind Aubameyang and one ahead of Lewandowski.
And Horn reckons his teammate has to work a lot harder than his rivals, who enjoy the luxury of playing with stars who set up numerous chances in each game.
