Angry Manchester City fans react as Etihad Stadium’s turnstiles fail before their 1-1 draw with Everton
MANCHESTER CITY fans were left confused and angry as they were forced to miss their team kick off because of faulty turnstiles.
The 54,000-capacity Etihad Stadium had a facelift completed only last season with one of the goal-ends getting an extra tier – despite the club being unable to fill it for certain fixtures.

But this weekend fans were left stumped as City left thousands of fans outside the ground as reports emerged the turnstiles were not working properly.
There were also extra checks from security guards as fans made their way into the stadium, meaning even further delays.
One fan tweeted: “This was at 3:05pm today…got there at 2:50pm, got in a 3:15pm. Not good enough. Add an extra turnstile now Y is shut.”
