ANGEL DI MARIA is paying homage to his humble beginnings with some new ink.
The Argentina flyer showed off a fresh leg tattoo depicting his childhood.
Di Maria will forever have his roots with him on his right calf where the artwork features his childhood home in Rosario’s district of Perdriel, a football and the Argentina flag.
He posted a video of the finished piece on his Instagram story with caption: “My history on my skin!!!”
The 30-year-old also thanked his compatriot and tattooist @arturholykoi on his social media.
The PSG winger kicked his first football in Perdriel and joined Rosarito Central at four years old.
The home that is now permanently pictured on his leg is where Di Maria grew up with his two siblings and parents before he bought a new house for his family after signing for Benfica.
He will be hoping to celebrate his new tattoo with a goal and get the victory with PSG when they travel to Nice on Sunday.
Late last season PSG’s trip south ended their hope of winning the league after a 3-1 defeat to Nice.
But this year they make the trip with a huge lead at the top of the table and within touching distance of a fifth title in six seasons.
