The Belgian giants were filmed by a Manchester local, going through a few drills in broad daylight, a far cry from the Old Trafford turf they are set to play on on Thursday night.

On Wednesday, Wayne Rooney got back to training as he is set to be a surprise inclusion for the game against Anderlecht.

On the selection, Jose Mourinho said: “He’s working now, he’s improving.

“If in this training session [Wednesday afternoon] the answer is positive, I would select him to be on the bench tomorrow.

“I cannot confirm now but the paparazzi that live in the Lowry Hotel, they can take the picture when we go to the hotel at six o’clock and see if Wayne is selected.
