“That was despite Leicester persisting with trying to sign me. They were even prepared to send their doctors out to Gabon, where I was playing for Senegal in the African Nations Cup.
“I have dreamed about playing in England since I was little. But I am a believer and things happen if they are meant to be.
“I have long felt ready to make the step up. I don’t need the fact that I had two good games against Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be certain – I know what I can do.

"I no longer applaud Anderlecht's fans at the end of matches these days. Some of them treat me differently to the club's other players.
"I have had messages on my phone from Anderlecht fans calling me a monkey, or telling me and my family to go back home. I have kept them all.
"It all weighs down on me. Some days I don't even want to leave my house when I wake up.
"It is easy to insult me over the phone, but they don't dare do it to my face. The anger I feel has made me stronger."
