AMIR KHAN has vowed to “get back on top with big fights” and says he is “moving forward” following the split from his wife Faryal Makhdoom.
On Friday, the Sheffield fighter sensationally announced their split and said his parter had been cheating on him – accusing Anthony Joshua of having a relationship with her.

Makhdoom later claimed he had never mentioned divorce before the social media outburst.
Khan has now taken to Twitter again to give an update to his fans, and vowed to return to the top of the boxing world following his heartbreak.
The 30-year-old said: “Mid-August I’m off to San Francisco to start my training.
“Putting everything behind me and moving forward. Get back on top with big fights.”
Khan revealed to the Sunday Mirror that he is “gutted” about the breakdown of his marriage and has been unable to sleep.
The British fighter has been trading blows with Makhdoom online.

He is currently in Dubai, where his brother Haroon flew out today to support him.
Khan said: “I haven’t slept all night. I don’t know what to say. I’m gutted.
“I went to see some people at the marina and I’ve been up all night.

“I couldn’t sleep. I need time to think. I just need to rest and to speak to some people.”
Makhdoom released her own statement following Friday’s outbursts.
She said: “I am no cheat, that’s not me and never will be.
“My account was genuinely hacked and I thought Amir’s was too as he never mentioned a divorce to me and instead went to social media – I was a bit confused.
"This is a private matter in my life that's blown out of proportion and it's not right for me as a woman nor my little girl.
"I'm not sure where Amir has gotten his information from and whether he was under the influence or what was going through his head when he did this - but clearly as many of you may no I am no cheat that's not me and never will be (Never ever been a story about me in the past, and never will be).
"From today onwards I will not talk about this matter as it's my marriage and a very touchy/sensitive matter to me.
"You guys can think what you like and we had a lovely time in Dubai for my birthday, I truly believe in bad nazar (evil eye).
"Sometimes you do things out of anger not realising the damage it will cause -- and that's clearly what's happened here."
The model also apologised to Anthony Joshua for "what's going on".
