An agreement has reportedly been reached to bring the 31-year-old to Turkey, pending his medical.
Leeds were in hot pursuit of Negredo – in particular sporting director Victor Orta – who signed the forward on-loan from Valencia at Middlesbrough last season.
The striker failed to adapt to his surroundings at Boro, scoring only eight goals in all competitions throughout the campaign.
The Euro 2012 winner returned to the Spanish club as Boro were relegated to the Championship.
Swansea City were also reportedly interested in signing the striker, but his wage demands exceeded the limits of the Welsh club.
