The midfielder was injured during Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final first leg victory against Roma.

The former Arsenal man uploaded a photo of him watching his team-mates in action on a laptop from a hospital in Liverpool.
He captioned it: “Watching the boys in Rome last week taking us one step closer to something very special.

“Knee surgery was a success and the hard work has already begun.”
Chamberlain described how he was “absolutely devastated” to be missing the final months of Liverpool’s season and the tournament in Russia.
