Alan King’s Sceau Royal set to run at Cheltenham racecourse on Friday

SCEAU ROYAL is on track to make his second start over fences at Cheltenham on Friday.

Alan King’s five-year-old impressed when making a winning chase debut at Warwick earlier in the month.

King said: “The plan is to go to Cheltenham on Friday. He appears in good form and it was a good performance at Warwick, but this will be tougher again.

“Daryl Jacob sat on him on Thursday and jumped nine fences and he has worked well since so as long as things are OK, he will go to Cheltenham.”

Sceau Royal is a general 25-1 shot for next year’s Arkle Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
