AIDAN O’BRIEN has supplemented Air Force Blue for the Commonwealth Cup.
The three-year-old was supplemented at a cost of £35,000 for Friday’s sprint.
The three-time Group one winner last year was bitterly disappointing in the 2,000 Guineas before following that up with another poor run in the Irish 2,000 Guineas.
O ‘Brien is now hoping the return to sprinting will reignite his spark.
Leading contenders Quiet Reflection, Log Out Island and Gifted Master are still in contention amongst the 18 horses confirmed.
Johnston will rely upon Buratino in the absence of Lumiere.
